Wedding Planning Day

So today is sort of a HUGE day in me and Bryan's wedding planning adventures. We are going to visit Hidden Oaks, where we are getting married, today and showing our parents for the first time! We completely fell in love with this place and have been back to take care of some things 3 times now. Today being the first time we bring our family....so we are hoping they love it half as much as we did!!! There is a wedding happening there this evening, which is great because that means we get to see it all set up for a wedding, rather than just a blank slate (which is really hard to imagine a wedding happening on a blank slate).

Here is just a snapshot of the charming place we are getting married at!!! We are soooo excited for our wedding day, but more than that we can hardly wait to be MARRIED!!! God has provided so much for us just through this planning journey, and we are confident that God has great plans in store for Bry and I as a unified couple....God is GOOD!!!

Day 2 at the Children's Pastor's Conference - San Diego

Wow, so I am mentally exhausted but filled with so many great ideas from all the seminars I attended to. Went to 1 seminar about free ways to vamp up the media drive for your Children's ministry - have some FABULOUS tools to return to the office with. I hope to hit the ground running when I get back on Thursday. Thursday can't get here fast enough, I can't wait to set realistic goals and get on my way to accomplishing them with a team of great volunteers on board with me!

One thing I realized, is that I have finally made it full circle as a Children's ministry director because Group Publishing is having a 20% off and free shipping deal at the CPC this week....which means DISCOUNT VBS MATERIALS! I brought my material check list with me this week just in case something this wonderful would come my way!!! Resource center....group publishing here I come....tomorrow I will be ordering some discounted VBS necessities for this year!

Tomorrow is a new day and my prayer is that I will be refreshed as I sleep and wake up ready to learn new things and embrace what the Lord has in store for me!

TARGET HERE I COME!

So last night was eventful and stressful all in one. I ordered a fabulous dress online at target.com in hopes that it would be a great bridesmaid dress option for my girls....little did I know I would LOVE it! Its fabulous. Melissa and I ventured out to the seal beach target to buy them for all the girls and well they were on sale....meaning there aren't very many of them in stock anymore. So 2 hours later and 4 targets later, I found a dress for all of the girls and they are on sale :) YAY!!!

What an exhausting night, but well worth it, I think my bridesmaids will be pleased to not spend a million dollars on their "wear once" dresses!
